How does the Facebook Email Friend Finder work?

Does it find all the contacts and automatically add them or can you choose which ones you want to add?

How does the Facebook Email Friend Finder work?
No, it doesn't add them automatically. When Facebook first came out, it used to put check marks next to all of your contacts and it would send invites to all of your friends with a single click. However, it's not like that anymore. If you use the Email Finder, it will find all of your contacts that already have a Facebook account. You then need to put a check mark next to everyone you want to send a friend request to. You still need to click the "Add as Friends" button before friend requests are sent out. It doesn't do it automatically.

You will also see another screen with all of your email contacts who don't have a Facebook account. That screen has check marks next to all of your contacts, but you still need to click the "Invite to Join" button before sending invites out. It doesn't do it automatically.
Reply:So the friend finder works like this: 1. if you dont have it go to your settings and click friend finder on. 2. look at the friends your friends have, if you know any of them then add them. here is your awnser: they give you a little amount of your friends's friends so that way if you dont know there name or email you can add them. Also they have it so that you dont have to go look up there names for hours just to find them or look on your friends's friends. So the friend finder just chooses random people and says diffrent one's everytime you log into your account.
Reply:Facebook will send an invitation to every person on your contact list to join their site. This is something that really ticked me off about Facebook. I don't think they should have the technology to enter your email acct. and get all your contacts. I changed to MySpace instead.
Reply:Yes it finds all your contacts who have a facebook and you can choose who you want to add.
